Latonya Green was born in San Antonio, Texas, and has roots in the Live Oak area. She is the daughter of a single mother and the second oldest of five siblings. She has an extensive background in business and leadership. Latonya is passionate about developing the skills of others and always encourages them on their road to success. Her studies at St. Phillips College and Devry University have set the foundation for the woman she is today.

 Latonya's corporate experience and ten years of being an entrepreneur provided her with exceptional leadership skills, organization skills, and discipline. She conducts herself with integrity and commitment to each initiative she takes on. Latonya will be faithful to those values in all of her duties for the City of Live Oak.
